Common sense tried to win, but a complete brand new never skated long board for $40 when you have been thinking about getting one for several months?

Hot water heater tune up kit for the radiant floor heat in the big garage yesterday. $25 for the kit vs $370 for a new hot water was a no brainer. Timewise, with draining and refilling the system, it was probably a wash.

Found a United Martinez BMX at goodwill for $60. Frame has a dent, and needs a headset, but everything else is good so it seems. Gonna tear it apart this weekend.

Spent last night with the boys (5&8) at a nearby pump track on my bike (KTM Chicago MTB), was totally knackered when we got home and now thinking about buying a bottom feeder BMX for next summer. Also found a MADD GEAR stunt scooter all effed up forgotten at a parking lot so collected it and figured I'd do a full rebuild over the winter.

22.47 Gallons of Avgas (110LL) for the Bonanza. Flew from KCTJ to KFTY to KRMG and back to KCTJ. Took about 1.5 hours to cover what would have taken seven hours by car.

Groceries….. don’t know about everyone else, but prices here have gone stupid over the course of the last 3 months. 200 bucks don’t get you near what it did back around July or so……

Good score... i recently saw an early 2000s Masi road bike at a salvation army, but they wanted $300... it would have been tempting if it were my size, but it needed help and it was too small for me... way too small...

If have felt better if it was at the salvation army, honestly. After reading up on Goodwill a few years ago, I stay away from it, but I meet a friend there, and couldn't pass up the bike. If anything, I can get a new frame, and move everything over.

Cylinder gasket kit for the Ural.
Two cylinder gaskets, two head gaskets, two valve cover gaskets, and four push rod tube seals. One of the push rod seals has been leaking for quite a while and the top of the block is starting to look like some old John Deere tractors I dragged home in the early 70s. The only fix is to replace it. And that means yanking the cylinder.

I couldn't find just the cylinder kit in the US but found it in the Urals' homeland.

You probably knew this was coming, but what do you consider cold air?
