One of things I did to get the clutch working/feeling correctly was to rotate the lever on the engine one spline back. It is easy to remove the clip and rotate it back. This puts the adjustment threads right in the middle, like they should be. I'll try to post a few pics tomorrow. I'm sure you will love the bike after you get it baselined and broke in. |

Thanks!
Got a link back? I've been neglecting dirt bike things as work and my wife's hobbies and her volunteer work have taken over for the past 6 weeks. |

Managed to make it down to the Pitster shop this weekend. Pleasantly surprised to find that they had everything I needed in stock; especially the clutch rod.
As you can see I trimmed a bit too much off during our trip. (New one is longer) So I put the new longer rod in and knew immediately that it wasn't going to work; I could not tighten the springs up because the clutch wasn't clamping down. So, I took it back apart and added a full clutch steel and pad to the pack. It fit like it was designed to have one more set!! (I'll post a few pictures of it later) After adjusting the clutch cable, I took it for a spin and it feels about the same as it did before. I'll need to take it on something more challenging than my back lawn to really say much more about it. |

The rod in stock really surprised me. They also had some new rear wheel seals and a set of fork seals. I have one that is barely starting to weep. I want to tear them down to see what is inside and put in some fresh fork oil. |

Great minds think alike Jerry! I actually did that yesterday while I had the front wheel off for a tire change. Hoping it works, but if not I have the new parts ready to go.

Yep, something so simple works like a charm.
