That's the one I ordered. Just make sure you choose the correct option with the higher price of 438 CNY.

For the last ten hours the Hanjin Germany has been maintaining the following location, about 325 miles off the California coast.

LAT: 36° 36' N LONG: 127° 43' W

I thought the vessel would sail to Long Beach, and moor offshore waiting for its turn to berth. Apparently the backlog of ships at Long Beach is so large, the vessel is maintaining this position on the open seas, alleviating the congestion of the shipping lanes around Long Beach.

Checking out the new CSC RX3 Supermoto to figure out how they created the new look, which I really like.

Some of it's obvious ... no fork guards, crash bars, luggage rack, passenger pegs or grab handles. Plus the black windshield and new wheels. But look closely at the nose of the bike. They stripped the colored panels from the tank and nose, leaving the bare skeleton underneath. Shortened the beak too. Now just paint over the camo and give it dual front discs.

Hey Joe, how much weight did all this save ... 30-40 lbs?

We haven't weighed it yet, and I haven't ridden it yet. I may fix that latter problem this morning. You correctly identified most of the mods. Further weight gains are realized with this bike's aluminum rims and abbreviated front fender (not just the beak).

What color(s) would you guys want to see on this package?

Are the stock wheels not aluminum? That's an upgrade right there that will show real performance gains. Also nice you have removed all of the luggage and crash protection it would be interesting to know the wheight of that stuff?

Color choices as its a fresh color wrap.

Match the gold of the rims (bling)
Flat black (stealth)
glow in the dark
tie die

I will also be interested in the weight without all the extra parts. This will be able to analyze versus competition in more similar trim packages.

Also what is the rim weight savings specifically? Unsprung and then reciprocating weight has huge gains in performance.

You have an excellent eye for design.

I'd love to see a two-tone semi-gloss and flat black. I really like the old Ducati Monster Dark bikes, and the RX-3 would be really sharp like that.

I really like the supermoto style . That fits my style Better . I have been trying to imagine what a striped down Rx3 would look like . CSC did a great job of bringing it to life .

color change

CSCDude, if a person wanted to change color of their bike in the future by changing the colored plastic pieces from red to orange or white, or mixture of several colors ,how much would the 6 or7 plastic parts cost? I realize the tank would remain original color. Will you be stocking all the plastic colored pieces. That SM looks kinda cool for an around town zoomer, rj

A few quick responses, guys, and if I missed anything, my apologies.

The stock rims, front and rear, are steel.

We stock all parts, including all the body parts. I don't have prices on them yet.

I don't have the weight difference between the Supermoto custom and the stock bike. The 30 or 40 lb guesstimate I saw in one of the threads is probably in the range. In fact, as I write this, Rich is fooling around with the Supermoto adding a set of brush guards to it. I may or may not get an opportunity to ride it today. If not today, I'll get out on it on Thursday. Please note that the Supermoto and its custom parts are not yet available nor are they priced. It's just a styling exercise at this point, and it's not likely it will be a separate model. We're evaluating a kit to make the conversion.

I'm probably going to do a pre-run of the Baja ride next week. Already coordinating with Baja Bound insurance (they are the best ones for temporary Mexican insurance, which you must have to bring a vehicle into Mexico) and they will have a special package for any RX3 riders who are doing the Baja run with us. Watch the CSC blog for more details.

If the rims are dark gold, I would do an indigo or midnight blue ... if they're more yellow, then a medium blue.
