Good Advice, I hope;) JK
A Mod advised me to wait 24 hrs and hopefully it will come through. I will do that, and after another good conversation with Steve, today, believe so, but they will email me a copy I can confirm tomorrow. (Patti) Joe also PMed it was done..
I wish, I'd called (Steve) first..might have saved some B P spikes! |

I'll be very interested to hear how the light output compares. If it's better, I'll probably get one too. I wonder if CSC could order parts like this or if we have to go through taobao. Another part I'm interested in is the upgraded fork. Still haven't found it on taobao, but it's hard without a part number. |

We're checking with Zongshen on this now. We'll advise as soon as we have an answer.

I was crunching some numbers to compare its power to weight ratio with other 250s, and it's really interesting. The RX3 is the heaviest bike in the chart, at 386 lb, which includes engine bars, skid plate, racks, panniers, trunk and 4 gallons of gas. But its power to weight ratio is still very competitive with the other 250s.
It ties with the Yamaha Vstar 250 and comes in only a hair below the Honda CBR250R and CB300F. True, the Ninja 300 beats it (with 50 more cc), but the RX3 still has almost the same torque ratio ... which is what you want in a touring/trail bike anyway. Want to match the CB300F's power ratio or the Ninja 300's torque ratio? Just take off the engine bars, skid plate, racks, and panniers and replace the battery with a Shorai LFX to save 30 lbs. And just for grins, I calculated the power to displacement (cc) ratio to get an idea of how efficient the Zong is ... and it beat everything but the Ninja 300. All that and it still gets 70 mpg. Not bad for a little thumper. Chart sorted by power/weight, then by torque/weight. All curb weights include a full tank and stock equipment. Code:

The upgraded forks for the RX3 are a nice improvement. However, the forks for the Zongshen ZS150GY-10 motorcycle are probably better yet. I wonder if those forks would also fit the triple tree of the RX3.

Thanks for taking the time to perform the calculations, and post the interesting information. Indeed, it wouldn't be difficult to remove the engine bars and luggage for everyday riding, and re-install them when heading out for a extended trip/adventure.

Having entered the North Pacific Ocean, the Hanjin Germany is figuratively 'pouring on the coals.' Fifteen minutes ago the vessel was reported at the following location, sailing east at 16.3 knots.
LAT: 49° 52' N LONG: 157° 09' W The vessel is now farther south than the northern regions of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and is rapidly approaching the 49th parallel, which is the latitude of the U.S./Canadian border. The ETA in Long Beach has been moved forward to March 10, at 4:00 AM. Better yet, the berthing time has also been moved forward to March 14, at 5:00 AM. Apparently the longshoremen are clearing the backlog at the port of Long Beach.

The Hanjin Germany is now well out on the open seas of the North Pacific Ocean. Yesterday the vessel sailed south of Unimak Island before it distanced itself from the Aleutian Archipelago. Here are some photographs of Unimak Island.
Make sure you are toting a big enough rifle if you decide to hunt bears on Unimak Island.
