No issues with the adapter. But why use an adapter when you can do a cleaner install?

Agreed I wont work with out the adapter anyway because the banjos are m12 not m10. Just wasnt super into cutting line and clamping it. I think I am going to go with the same set up you have on your kpx

The oil cooler I used on the X22R hoses will bolt right up to the engine.

My KPX runs hot. I want to add an oil cooler to it. I have checked out the link you sent a while back, but I'm confused on the banjo part. I need to buy separate m12 banjo lines, or which part needs adapting? Thank you

Venom emailed me that Lifan affirms they are sending replacement chain guards and reflectors when available.

Are you running 15w50 or 20w50 oil for hot weather use? That will help.

Look on eBay for hoses. I found rubber hoses with a wire coil around them to keep them from kinking, with a 10mm banjo (engine side), for about $16 each. The other end is open, and you use the barbed adapter that comes with the cooler. Might be possible to find the braided stainless lines like Jerry used.

I guess we are the early adopters (leaving to get mine in about 1/2 hour). Lifan is getting a couple of minor issues fixed on a great bike.

I have not changed the oil yet, it has whatever oil Venom added. I'm going to change it soon however. I think I'm going to use 10w-40 conventional

Thanks, good to know.

Hey Jerry, did your bike come with any hex wrenches in the toolkit? Mine didn't. The X-pect had one for the plastics. The KPX needs the same one for the plastics, and a larger one for the rack.

Gonna do my own thread on my KPX tomorrow.

Doh! Oops

Well this was a purchase I should have not made. With my bad back I can’t lift my leg over it. I get on the peg and swing my leg over it and I have almost dropped it several times. So I have to find a way to adjust that shock all the way down and see if that helps. It looks pretty tight to get a spanner wrench in there. I went for a few short rides. And it does get hot and I checked the chain and it had 50mm of slack (if I’m checking it the right way.) Weird since I bought from a dealer you would think it would not stretch in 20miles so I’m guessing he just put it together and did not go over it . He does not charge a dealer fee for that at least not on paper.

I'm 5' 10" and most of the time i can swing a leg over but sometimes I do mount the bike while on the kick stand by standing on the foot peg when my old legs just can't get up there. lol
It is normal to get some chain stretch within the first 20-30 miles. After that, as long as you maintain and keep the chain lubricated the chain stretch will be minimal.

I also noticed went going very slow it jerks when you throttle and I noticed that on my Benelli as well they are both EFI and new. like when practicing figure 8s for my test. I bought a used TBR7 with 1,150 miles on it and it is very smooth at very slow speeds. any thoughts ?

If the chain is a bit loose it will give you driveline snatch when you hit the throttle.

I haven't looked into the exhaust system yet. I just received my cable so time to stat looking into the tuning portion.
