Are they OHV or OHC? That would be the most important thing to know. In general, OHV would be Lifanoid in a 200, I don't think Zong makes a 200 in OHV. But, who knows? :?

Here's what it says on GIO's website about the beast engine in the "Features" tab
"This 200cc, air cooled, four-stroke Zongshen Engine delivers hard hitting power from mid to high rpm range. Zongshen is one of the leading manufacturing in quality motorcycle engines. Zongshen ranks at the top of the Chinese motorcycle industry." |

Cool, now does anyone know where I can find out if Zong has a 200 ATV?

Sounds like a Zong then.
I still wonder about the valve gear. I wonder if Zong's factory built a Lifanoid engine or sourced it out and put their name on it. No way to really tell.

I think when it comes to Chinese built, no one Knows for sure who makes it or where it comes from. I tend to think that Zong has a good level of quality control, but I have very little faith in any other.

Of course even Q's are not Q's, they are sourced from different companies, mostly from Qinqi/Suzuki. To really make it somfusing, their 700cc UTV is made by HiSUN.
The only Q Link ATV's I can think of are 90, 500, and 700cc. With they had a 200-250.

Now the question for Gio owners is to compare that engine to theirs. BUT, it's not a great picture, there is only one, there are no useful specs on the Zong website. The Great Enigma continues. :?: It's part of the Great Chinese Takeove Conspiracy. First, make us all insane.

To respond to earlier questions:
TurboT, my engine says Zongshen on the side but yours does not. I find that to be really odd, considering they were made in the same month of the same year. FastDoc, our Beasts have OHV engines, much like Lifanoid stuff.
