The dude I got the materials also said something about a used catalytic converter and that if I didn't want it, he would just recycle it.

Still have to get the rear plastic where you mount the cargo rack and also going to have to purchase a new headlight because I don't like it painted. I wanna get the xhaust cover as well, seen em on temu for 12 bucks.

That headlight doesn't look bad, but assuming you used gloss black paint, then buffing it with polishing compound would likely help match it to the rest of the bike. You may end up just painting the exhaust cover too. The cosmetic thing that I dislike on the Hawk, and other similar bikes is the silver passenger grab handles, and muffler cover. I am running my de- restricted stock exhaust on my Hawk now , and I did paint the muffler cover.the gray that I painted the plastic on my Hawk, but if I wasn't so lazy, I would paint the passenger grab handles, and lower forks black.

Well I painted the exhaust cover with flat black hi temp paint. Also hit all the rusty spots I could get to on the exhaust itself. Took off the faded seat pad. the bike looks better.

De-humped the Hawk seat
I got bored tonight and even though it was dark out, I de-humped the hawk seat. I should have done this a year ago. Took no more than 35 minutes total and what a difference. I pretty much levelled it, taking my time and using a bread knife. I then reinstalled the Mad dog seat cover, putting the blue gel under it, and whooo weeee! So much better!

I never should have said anything about my Zanella gauge!! Tachometer is now completely dead. Less than 4000 miles on that gauge. I will just get a universal amazon tach until the speedometer dies and then rethink the whole thing.
