Decided to go back with another idriver from bosch

https://jet.com/product/Bosch-PS10BN...82cadaf8b91b28

I had already bought the 4 amp hr battery for it last year so just decided to continue on with the same product. Btw, it lasts a good long time
Oh,and this just kinda jumped into my cart too.

love shopping the goodwill stores in the more "well to do" towns... todays score, a fully functional canon 20D digital SLR body for a whopping $25... uses same lwnses as my rebel xti, and the wife has been wanting to get into a better camera... can't argue with that....

Obd2 reader to android device

https://bafxpro.com/products/obdreader

Final cost $22. Worth a go. I think a bunch of these came available in 2015, will see how it works. Got another constant engine light on the Kia sorrento. Had one on 3 months ago for a faulty gas cap, paid about $75 to get it fixed. May try a diy approach first before I take the "space shuttle" in again (meaning, as complicated as...).

Good choice, I have the same one along with two wired units. The free app is 'OKAY', you can get code. The paid apps will allow you to do more thorough diagnostics.

8' of 3/4" x 1/8" 1010 flat stock.
Building a second jerry can carrier for the Ural. The new can fit the old carrier but the can is just tall enough that it touches the spare when the trunk is closed. So, I'll have two cans on the sidecar.

Thanks queso...I knew someone here had an opinion on it. So I guess you are saying it at least pretends to work. (Obd2 device)

I have a metal store up the interstate from me that I have been purposefully staying away from.

I bought this dude. I needed another one with flex shaft for Brozz projects, and my wife burned up my old one. She uses it more than I do. This thing is cheap but the reviews are great, so I'll give it a whirl. Hey a chinese bike needs to be modified with chinese tools.
A couple years ago, I picked up one of these off WOOT.com for 14.99 + 6.99 shipping. It's been a real handy tool. I like the flex shaft, just keep it lubed with some good grease. There have been reports of the internal cable seizing up and braking.

if you know where to look, you can find the "paid apps" for free..... I use Torque pro with my elm 327 style reader, and I have a whole suite of obd programs for my laptop as well that were sourced for free many years ago...

Do these things work as advertised? They have been expensive for so long it's great to see them come down in price for consumer regular consumers.

No problems with my BT unit other than the learning curve required for the app. I keep the BT unit in the pickup cuz when it does throw a code, I'm 1000 miles from home. Usually a one time glitch, too.

My wired units are great, just don't get the cheapest ones from Wally World. They suck. With my wired units, I can download and print out a 'freeze frame', if needed, if I absotivley posilutley need to take the vehicle in. Only did that once, though.

One unit is specific to my Audi and comes with specific software for the car.

I don't know if you can do this with your space shuttle, but on some Chrysler products, turning the ignition on and off three times quickly will show the code on odometer.

I jave both a usb corded one and a bluetooth one from ebay, both cost me under $20 a piece, and both are great. If there's a sensor hooked to the computer you can watch realtime, check and clear codes, etc...

Got this the other day. It was time to renew the subscription.
Spend $20 to get $25 of stuff I would have bought anyway. Good magazines too.
