The Missus and I sold our camper last year, and we really miss the camping thing. We're probably going to pick one up when we get back to GA. We much prefer motorized to tow behind. I say hold onto it, especially if it's in good shape!

Plus the wife can ride in comfort and make me sandwiches lol, and use the facilities. I paid 10,500$ for it and it lists for 12,500-15,500$. Sold my 5th wheel for 5800$ so, with the 2800$ stimulus we aren’t into it very much at all. Has the Chevy workhorse chassis. Gonna go out to the coast on the 9th again. Second voyage will reveal what we truly think, I hope. I do wish it was 25 feet. 32 is behemoth..

Being able to get a bite to eat on the fly is a huge benefit. Now that we've got the little one, a travel trailer/tow behind just wouldn't work. If we do wind up picking something up back in GA, it's absolutely going to be motorized. Probably a nice Class A versus one of the Class C rigs. As for the length, it's shorter than your 5th-wheel, but turns are a whole lot different. Instead of articulating you have to think ahead to how to get a square peg through a round corner. Really hope you enjoy it and get a better feel for it this next trip! Happy Camping!

I tell ya, this Covid thing did things to the prices of these. I paid 1500$ for the 5th wheel trailer about 3 years ago. had to put 1000$ into it, with a new converter and some other things - roof seal etc. (was a 2001 Nash 24.5). Used if fairly happily and was towing with my 2001 F150. Truck blew a radiator and I decided it was too much for it. Bought a 2002 F350 7.3 diesel dually super duty crew cab with 255,000 miles on it for 4700$. Needed some work, mostly cosmetic and also sealing all the leaks on the engine. Let’s say again, put 1000$ into it (Runs like a champ and now looks good too). But, my point is, the trailer sold easily for 5800$. And I kept my 5th wheel hitch. The truck is worth upwards of 10,000$ right now; I bet I could get 12-13k out of it. It’s ridiculous. My wife and I looked at cabovers and, they are the worst price of all! Why are people spending 15,000$ on those things right now??. 11 feet of living space with no real reason for the exorbitant prices. The smaller rigs seem to be getting premium prices. That’s certainly one reason why this 32 foot motorhome really stood out, as, it’s complete, low mileage, parked in a garage and used occasionally since 2004, and super nice inside and out. Yet too big for what people are wanting right now... But I bet if it had been a 25 footer it would have sold quickly at 16,000$...
Super positives about it: the onboard Onan 5000 generator. I love that. I can stand up in the bedroom (couldn’t in the 5th wheel) great shower. Tons of storage. 85 gallon water tank. Btw, my truck wheelbase, being a super duty crew cab is only 2 feet, approx, shorter than this motorhome. I’ve gotten used to that long truck so other than hitting things with the tallness of the motorhome, and the rear overhang, so far not doing too bad

This will mean something to bogie.
Jewel special on Jay's potato chips. Buy 2 get 3 free. Had my name on that one. And starting at midnight tonight, I am vacation until the 12th. So something for periods of sloth and gluttony.

Also bought a clubman cafe racer drop bar for the yammy but it's so crap I'm gonna make a jig out of it and copy it using sth a bit more sturdy.

It seems I have drastically misjudged my beer consumption for the weekend so more beer (started to swap the wheel bearing on the terrano, turned out to just be the wheel itself clutching the last straws before rolling off!)
Gonna sell the yamaha once I get it fixed, wondering if there will be interest here for the build I`m planning next, will use Chinese electric parts but mostly will be of my own design and fabrication. Dunno what to call it but it will be something between a bicycle and a motocross bike, technically in the eye of the law it`s an e-bike since it will be 48v/1000w Like if you want to see that (not sure when I can get it started though, hopefully early summer)

Ordered an extended shift lever for the SSR, hope it fits. Also, the Viper 150 finally shipped should be here midweek.
