Amazing what was NOT damaged!
The Zongs appear to be built strongly. Thats why the weight isn't all a bad thing!
Most Chinese forks are very small and not strong, It APPEARS that those may if bent, only the lower portion, but not sure of even that! Crash bars definitely did their job(s), also. STill scary..wheel is definitely toast! |

sad to say i havent heard from sarah about the shipping ,,but theres plenty of time,,my fast orange rx3, is still on the slow boat from china.....I just hope they get the paperwork right... pennsylvania is difficult to get china bikes registered ....So for CSC dude,,,,In pa ,,,,,the MSO must have the mfger name ,,{zongshen} on it ,,not csc,,,,csc isnt the builder,,THIS IS MANDATORY,,,,,or itsa no go,,zongshen is in the national database,,,,,also mso must be printed on secure ,,watermarked paper....whew i hope this all works out ,,,TTHX

About one hour ago the Hanjin Germany was located approximately 150 miles offshore from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the largest city, and the capitol of Kamchatka. The city is located on Avacha Bay, and is home to Russia's largest submarine base.
The city was founded by the Danish navigator Vitus Bearing, who also explored his eponymous sea to the north. Bearing named the city Peter and Paul after the two ships in his second expedition. The city has a population of 180,000 people. The Hanjin Germany is leaving the continental shelf, and sailing into deeper waters while heading east at 9.3 knots toward Attu Island, Alaska, and the Aleutian Trench. The last recorded location of the vessel was: LAT: 51° 09' N LONG: 161° 06' E

About 2 hours ago the Hanjin Germany was located due south of Mednyi Island, Kamchatka. The last two islands of the Aleutian chain belong to Russia, and Mednyi Island is the easternmost of those two islands. Here are some photographs from the island.
The Hanjin Germany is sailing east at 11.5 knots, and is approaching the International Date Line, and Attu Island, Alaska. The last recorded location of the Germany was: LAT: 52° 57' N LONG: 167° 20' E

About 45 minutes ago, the Hanjin Germany crossed the International Date Line, and entered the Bering Sea. The vessel is tentatively scheduled to arrived in Long Beach on March 10, at 9 PM. Berthing time is currently scheduled for March 17, at 5 PM.
The Germany will most likely sail across the Bering Sea north of the Aleutian Islands, following the green route in the drawing below. The vessel is currently located at the left of the drawing, nearing Attu Island. The ship will exit the Bering Sea by sailing through Unimak Pass, and will then sail in a general southeasterly direction to port in Long Beach, California. The last reported location of the vessel was: LAT: 53° 31' N LONG: 170° 25' E

Rear Sprocket (Non cush drive hub)
* RX3 WITHOUT CUSH DRIVE HUB *
I can confirm that the JTR 897 44T rear sprocket fits the NON Cush drive hub of the RX3 but does require counter sunk sprocket bolts and centralizing on the hub. “Well it doesn’t fit then” I here you say, well it fits better than the original sprocket! I was having trouble getting rid of a massive tight spot on the drive chain and found that the bolts to sprocket and hub holes are a slack fit and that the inner sprocket diameter to hub lip was also a loose fit, causing it to run off centre. By wrapping around the hub lip twice with electrical insulation tape I was able to centralise the sprocket on the hub. This improved the tight spot but was still not good enough, then fitted a new D.I.D O-ring chain with the same result. On with the new sprocket, this needed only one wrap of tape around the hub lip to create a snug centralised fit. Bingo! , I was able to adjust the chain without getting wild variations in slack, now well within normal limits. Took the bike for a 10 mile spin, what a difference, much smoother at low RPMs and gear changes and no chain slap / chatter. Much nicer to ride at slower speeds. I guess the original sprocket wasn’t well made. The bike is now close to perfect! |

That's great, Katflap. I'm glad I guessed correctly. I hope I guessed correctly for the cush hub sprocket, also.
If I may ask, when you measured the front sprocket, did you use calipers?
