I'm mildly disappointed lol, when I saw the post notification I was expecting some fairing contraption to be able to take a whizz while riding and not have to pull over.

Well, if you ride a Ural for any amount of time, stepping off to take a whizz seems like a well deserved break.

Amazon got money for two fuel filters and two oil filters for RPOC. My big boot did a number on one of the fuel filters yesterday. Glad I had one spare.

Got track lighting installed in my cabin today. It's beautiful in here now, nice soft light that goes around the entire place, and the LED fixtures are hidden so no glaring bulbs to stare at. And each room is on a dimmer switch.

wel....LOL signed on the dotted line last night on our next home... we are going to become full time RV'rs.... 32ft, 2 slides, rear kitchen... 2017 Crusader lite 27RK... now we need to get a truck to pull it....LOL and sell of 90% of what we own....

I have had a big travel trailer (about 10,000 lbs gross) for almost a year and I still do not have a truck big enough to pull it. We have been full time RV'ers for about five months now.
-That may change soon. Mother in law may need to move in with us.

I did that for a year in a slightly smaller version, and yes it was novel to be able to just move your place to a new location when you want. But after spending a miserable winter in it I decided RV life wasn't for me. If my income had been better I suppose I could have went south for the winter.

we are planning on going south immediately once we get all the ducks in a row...LOL then looking for work... its not even about the novel nature, its about my wife and i wanting to enjoy today for what it is, and see the world... we dont think you need to be tied down to a 9-5 slave job working to pay an exorbitant sum of money for a home that you hardly even use to its potential.... so, cue the downsizing and like the old airline commercial... *bing* you are now free to move about the country!

We are in the market for a toy hauler. Stock is nonexistent. Which was good last summer when I sold my camper, not so great now that I want to buy another lol.

I would like a 5er but I don't want to repurchase another truck. So I'm sticking to bumper pulls under 10k. Last was 9600gvwr and about 8800 loaded and it pulled fine so looking to stay near that but preferably shorter.

It's not hard to install a 5th wheel hitch other than drilling through the frame. And they pull so much better when the pivot point is directly above the rear axle rather than behind it. My sister just put one in her Super Duty and it took about 3 hours.

I only have 1900lb of payload. Pin weight in the size we need will be well into 2500. Tw will be around 1200lb for a similar size.

we currently only have a pair of subaru foresters and a dodge dakota, so we need to get a truck...LOL we are looking 2500 minimum, crew cab, 4x4, and diesel minimum, 3500 dually 4 door cab preferred.... just gotta find the balance of price and miles....LOL
