The first picture shows that I used small screws to reattach the vinyl. Also, since every tab broke on removal, I glued Velcro to both halves to reattach. Works like a charm.

Last picture shows back side of arm rest, where they vinyl had come out of its spots at back of lid and the base. The lid had broken off plastic so I fixed using longer screws. The base I was able to push it back in.

Maybe you'll find one in the boneyard.

The closest yard has one 2002 super crew and the drivers door is missing... I'll investigate some further away ones as soon as I can. Was going to go today on the way back from a work related meeting, but was too tired...

Fuel pump is here, so I'll be changing that tomorrow or Saturday!

Changed the fuel pump today. Old one was evidently a Precision brand which is sold by O'Reillys Auto. Couldn't tell the date on it. Oh well, I feel better having the new one, the new fuel strainer and the fuel filter replaced. Tank looked pretty clean inside, but the fuel strainer did have some black crud stuck on the bottom, and, it 1/4 of it was folded under like they didn't pay attention to it sitting flat on the tank bottom upon the install.

Odd that it's black. They're usually covered in aluminum dust due to stuffing the filler nozzle in. Good catch on the sock.

Not much to report! Truck is great and my latest ride, 1999 TDI VW is running quite well after a turbo rebuild and some other monkeying around. Truck is relegated to driveway most days since VW gets 40 mpg. As far as bikes go, TC90 might be traded to CL100, but KLX250 remains in the stable and the TTR’s are fine with the 225 being officially titled in Oregon now.

Glad to hear the truck is treating you well. I admit to an entry-level fascination with TDI motors. I'd love to drop one in an old two wheel drive Ranger.

Well, now I’m into it! Long story short... sister buys land at Bandon Oregon. Gets a 2000$ fifth wheel to live in while she and husband build house. They say we can bring out a trailer and live there too, on holidays. My wife then comes across a (very good deal actually) 1500$ fifth wheel trailer (2001 Nash 24.5n) and we buy it. So, I’ve spent the last few days installing a set of rails in my truck for the slider hitch that came with the trailer. 18 holes drilled into my truck including 8 in the frame. Today I’ll finish and try to tow the thing home. My truck was already wired for the 7 pin but I also installed the brake controller. Anyway, I just have to figure out a way to Carry the TTR125 on the back eventually... (see how I tied it all into motorcycles? )

Ford truck finally had an issue. The pressurized plastic overflow tank developed a leak. 70$ Dorman replacement from Auto Zone fixed that. Been cautiously towing the 5th wheel around and no major concerns except for horrible gas mileage.
