Thanks for posting the great photo, W&G. United States President Teddy Roosevelt once made the comment that Western American scenery "bankrupts the English language." He was correct; even photographs can't do justice to the majestic scenery of the American West.
Here's a photograph of the headwaters of the Snake River, with the majestic Teton Range in the background. Spud

OMG is that a beautiful pic, Spud. The Zong looks right at home there. My end of the Snake, where it empties into the Columbia, is not quite as pretty.

That's the vid I watched earlier today. You're the Man!
That's the vid of the year.

Yeah, that was Hemlock, looking towards Harison from the green chairlift. You can see where the snow line is on the distant mountains.

Hwy 14 in Washington about an hour east of Portland. Early 2000's. I remember taking it because in person you could see the top of Mt. Hood sticking out in the sky, but the camera didn't pick it up. I seldom took hwy14 but this was after the time when you couldn't just buy an Oregon plate for the year and instead had to report and pay all miles in Oregon per trip. Anyway, pretty (in person) but not as majestic as the Teton shot from Spud.
