I made an offer on Turbo's quad too

I'll wait and see how it goes, if it comes down much more then I'll consider making an offer

I made an offer on TurboT's quad as well, but I think mine was more of an insult, so the seller never responded.

Maybe that's the trick, I need some lowball "insults" so I can talk him down to a deal like Turbo got

This one doesn't seem like such a bad deal if someone wanted one of these http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/va...092087773.html (based on location)

Ahh you guys.. Do I really need to teach you the fine art of criagslist deals? You just go there and glare at him until he's scared and gives in.

..in all honesty, I never made an offer. I simply asked if he was willing to negotiate a better price on that hunk of shit; and reminded him chinese branded quads are hard to fix because parts are hard to find and nobody wants to work on them. Remember mine was not running.

He was back to me at virtually half his asking price within 30 minutes. I got in the truck.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rd...095700140.html ct70, $400 (not running) price is too high, would need to see if he has papers, but ad says to make offer so it could be a good deal maybe.

Wow. The msrp listed on etonamerica.com is $2250, so this guy must have really not shopped around... Unless that's the difference between buying in the USA at the time. I can't understand how anyone would pay that given all the other Chinese options out there, it's not like it's a Honda...

That seems so bloody outrageous. He probably has a receipt for $360 he added a zero to. Nobody with 1/4 brain would pay $3600 for a no brand name 90cc quad, then not use it, and try to sell it for a third the price.

A Yamaha 90 is 3500.

Dumb. Stuff like that bugs me.

Wow! 8O A mint CT-70 for $350.00!

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pm...098182755.html

Quote:
1972 Honda CT70 K1 model. 6 volt, 72cc, 3 speed semi automatic clutch. This time capsule is all original and unrestored. New chain, battery, air filter, spark plug, and fluids. 400 original miles and runs without fault. Fuel tank inside is not rusty and bike has no issues or excuses. Original seat with no rips and original non sun faded paint. It's a great hit with everyone that sees it. Ride it, show it, or display it in your office. Almost 40 years old and looks new.
