My 5+7yo boys been pestering me for a game console and hells no I ain`t giving up my XB360 nor my PS4 to them so I thought I got clever and snagged a barely used PSP from Tori.fi ( local craigslist/gumtree), even got lucky with halfmoon games having zero carriage til christmas so got four games for a song. Yea of course it works as a handheld too but the main idea was to hook it up to the living room TV and turns out the AV cables for the 1GEN N1000 are about as rare as unicorn poo so need to hunt down one of those later.

Not a bad deal though, 30e for the console, 35e for four games. Try and get a PS3 for that (not to mention the PS controller being too big for a 5yo)

I've been spending money like a drunken sailor this month, but got a HF 55 LB anvil for the local SIL for his b'day last Friday. Wants to try his hand at black smithing. Go for it.

Is that the one you have to crank by hand, or is it the upgraded model with the dinosaurs on a wheel?

Seriously, nice score!

Nah, fifties atomic power. The sawdust glows. Heavy booger, I had to take it apart to get it downstairs. I popped the 5" holes on each end to make it easier to access the bolts so I wouldn't need to pretzel myself. Just ordered a locking safety switch and gang box because, grandkids. Not too crazy about the replacement RadioShack toggle switch with the exposed wiring even if it's just me.

Only about half as loud as the 2019 Rockwell behind it.

This one is on Orchard and Indian Trail in West Aurora. Or is it North Aurora? Haven't quite figured out the town lines, yet. I've been able to outfit my wood shop through both this one and Elgin.

This is the $10 router table and $5 cabinet I mounted it to. I had hoped to roll it under the bench for storage but it's about a 1/16" too tall.

Man that table saw was a solid find, I need to start trolling my ReStore.. I've actually never been in there. I had no idea they'd sell stuff like that.

I've got an old plywood end table part of a waterbed set that is a nice size for a chop saw. Maybe a little shorter than this one but larger.

There are some other older antique tables that I could not bear to put into such service though. They merit better (e.g. restoration).
