Six panes of blue swirly tiffany glass, copper tape, brush-on flux and some glasswork tin. Feeling artsy.

Sunday i took a gamble on an old digitech RP7 valve pedal board, listed for parts not working, but would boot, just couldnt get the effects to work.... got it yesterday... after tearing the whole thing down i found that someone had put the pedal return springs on the wrong pins of the pedal caps, so the springs were pushing all the buttons at the same time, causing it to hang the boot.... after fixing that, it fired right up.... plus side to pulling it all apart is that i found someone had swapped out the original tube for a nice old Sovtek 12ax7 to boot....

Not a bad $35 investment....

Stock photo, but similar shape...

I got the $18 scroll saw up and running. Worst thing about it was that the table was rusty. Have that all nice and shiny along with a coat of Dri-slide to keep it from rusting. That little puppy is heavy.

Ok so non bike content but a chain of shops in the UK often sells American food and confectionery and my son picked these up.

Feeling brave I tried a pouch of 'trix' as it was the only one I'd never heard of or tried anything similar and instantly regret it.

Cheerios and the cinnamon toast crunch are the only two remotely good ones unless you are 5 lol.

Sorry.

The only thing I would eat in that pack, and that is if nothing else was available, is the Cheerios. And I grew up eating most of that stuff.

A good fry-up is one of the things I miss the most about being in the UK. I spent the better part of my childhood, and quite a few of my early teen years in Suffolk, and I can't wait to get back. American cereal is just empty calories loaded with sugar. Don't get me wrong, even at 40 I still sit down with a bowl of Lucky Charms, Cap'n Crunch, or Cinnamon Toast Crunch from time to time, but I'm much more likely to make myself some eggs, 'bangers' (if I can find them in the English shoppes near me), bacon, and toast (sometimes with beans, but that's a pretty rare thing, these days). Breakfast is the most important meal of the morning (until second breakfast, and that's just to hold you through to elevensies), so it makes sense to do it up properly!

Mrs. C went on a spree today. 40" Vizio tv for the basement, a new Epson tank style printer(I approve of this), and a folding work table for the wood shop(approved of this, too).

As for the way she ride, it's easy. Turns are easy and with the high ground clearance, you can really lean into the turns. I think I might need to change the front sprocket. Maybe add another tooth, possibly 2 teeth. I'd like to space the shifts out a bit more because it's got plenty of torque.

Speed wise, it's quick. Yesterday, my buddy was following me on his Harley Heritage ('92). I think he said it's 1300 cc with a bunch of mods. I know his bike is heavier, but he said when I would take off, he had a hard time staying up with me.

I've had 2 issues with it. This morning when I went to start it, it didn't want to start. Took like 5 tries before it started. The other issue is the side panel fell off somewhere. Either the lock on it came undone, or I didn't have it locked down properly. Tried retracing my route, but it was no where to be found.

The nice thing about parts for the bike is that parts are cheap as long as I order it from India. eBay is a fantastic source for parts. It's funny that I can get an OEM oil filter from India cheaper than I can get from the "Local" dealer.

I do get a lot of compliments on this bike. Most say it's a beautiful bike and ask what it is. Only problem with the compliments is that they're from old guys. Guys older than me. I wish they were from some hot chicks. LOL.

If anyone has any questions about it, let me know and I'll try and answer them. As I get more seat time, and get more familiar with the bike, I'll let you know.

Where are you located at? Looks almost familiar....

A 100w soldering iron. Apparently a Dremel Versatip gas torch isn`t hot enough for tiffany glasswork (or rather not enough mass on the tip, managed to melt the cutting blade attachment)
