If you bring the flasher to a local auto parts store, I'm confident they can find a good replacement unit for you.

I don't understand how you can get 16V from a 12V battery. You shouldn't get that much voltage coming from a good regulator/rectifier (R/R), and the flasher is not even fed from the R/R, it is fed from the battery. Are you sure your digital multimeter is working properly?

i'm never sure its a 4.99 meter from hf lmao
but i did rebuild the harness and BTW i was getting 16V with no battery just the bike running |

Measure the battery for a baseline. That'll let you know if the meter is out of whack.

never thought of that i used a 120V outlet set to 200AC on the meter and i got 122.3 so i'm with in 2.3 v not horrible if you figure that in you get 14.7V right on the money

i got taobao down to a science i fell as if i speak Chinese now!
i splurged and got a few other things for work and such also got some misc parts for the bike i dont feel like ducking with found a nice set of blue plastics and a tank for 500 bucks shipped oem original blue and white zs250ga racing paint job |

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=2...4.12001318.0.0 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=1...4.12001318.0.0 <-- had to get one since the oem ones dead and the replacement i got from advanced auto blew up lmao!!! http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=2...4.12001318.0.0 got one left and one right! no more ducking with switches! i also striped the tape off the harness so it could dry out and re-loomed it in black wire loom with zip tires made it look a lot nicer then the oem tape job...... the guy that gave it to me have some remorse i think he came over the just as i got it running good for the first time after adjusting the valves and carb and dileing it i enriched it up a lottle (a little of a lot) and it wants to pull the front tire off the ground now! still caped at 7.5k rpms tho i want to get a hold of the guy i got the cdis from and see if they can slip me a few track boxes for unlimited rpms! i know this brave little motor has them hidden a way in side i can feel it and some how i know i can get an adjustable cam gear in there! }=) i cant help it i love to hot rod every thing still it spits fire and melts rubber! |
