I noticed that that TT is set up as a supermotard, has cast wheels that appear to be 17". Also has a skid plate.

I'm guessing that AKT assembles parts which are manufactured by Zongshen, and imported to Colombia. However, I'm sure Joe has the definitive answer.

Yes, that's a nice supermoto. I'm sure CSC can easily offer a supermoto version as well.

from the blog that is basically an rx3 with a carburetor instead of efi and a little different styling.

I'm curious if the axle sizes are the same between the rx3 and the tt - probably not but you can always hope.

No, the CSC TT250 is a very different motorcycle from the Zongshen RX3.

I would be surprised if the axle sizes are the same; the two bikes are very different motorcycles.

I was referring to the orange TT in the photo in Columbia - cast 17" wheels - and air cooled.
Yes, the bike Joe rode in Columbia was basically the same as the RX3 except carbureted. RX3 = fuel injected, liquid cooled, four valves TT 250 (coming soon to the US) = carbureted, air cooled, two valves

Those are supermoto wheels sold with the Colombian version of the Zongshen TT250.

The AKT TT below may be based off of the Locin 180, rather than the Zongshen TT.

Supermoto Wheels
So the wheels can be ordered from the AKT Factory in Columbia? Do you know what the cost would be? How about shipping charges to the USA?
They are 17" wheels? Will they mount directly to the CSC TT250 bike, or must the calipers be realigned? Any other problems, parts needed, or mounting problems? Thanks for the answers. |

It does appear the AKT bike lacks the engine counter balancer.
