Take your time CJ and as cheesy says, after a 1000.00 miles, take the advanced course.

They need to understand that Valentino Rossi and co ride on controlled space with safety measures ... Not on a random street....

But let's be honest sometimes is hard to keep the throttle steady

Metric riv nut tool. It was cheaper to buy the whole kit; tool, arbors, and nuts, than to buy just the arbors that fit my SAE tool.

Tri Fold hard bed cover and a tailgate handle lock. Adjusting to the utter lack of "secure storage" compared to my old Jeep Patriot was really bugging me.

I've not had the bike for a week and put about 150 miles on her.

She's top heavy. So when I'm at a stop, I'm always worried about dropping her. Younger me would have been fine.

As for the way she ride, it's easy. Turns are easy and with the high ground clearance, you can really lean into the turns. I think I might need to change the front sprocket. Maybe add another tooth, possibly 2 teeth. I'd like to space the shifts out a bit more because it's got plenty of torque.

Speed wise, it's quick. Yesterday, my buddy was following me on his Harley Heritage ('92). I think he said it's 1300 cc with a bunch of mods. I know his bike is heavier, but he said when I would take off, he had a hard time staying up with me.

I've had 2 issues with it. This morning when I went to start it, it didn't want to start. Took like 5 tries before it started. The other issue is the side panel fell off somewhere. Either the lock on it came undone, or I didn't have it locked down properly. Tried retracing my route, but it was no where to be found.

The nice thing about parts for the bike is that parts are cheap as long as I order it from India. eBay is a fantastic source for parts. It's funny that I can get an OEM oil filter from India cheaper than I can get from the "Local" dealer.

I do get a lot of compliments on this bike. Most say it's a beautiful bike and ask what it is. Only problem with the compliments is that they're from old guys. Guys older than me. I wish they were from some hot chicks. LOL.

If anyone has any questions about it, let me know and I'll try and answer them. As I get more seat time, and get more familiar with the bike, I'll let you know.

Got a receiver hitch for the Jeep from EBay. Should bolt on pretty easy with no drilling,
We will be ready for fall camping.

jeep bumper crunched.jpgAnother thing we bought for the Jeep was a new front bumper cover.
The old one is shown in the pic on the back of my truck.
I wish I could say that the bumper was crumpled in an epic trail ride.
It was hit by some POS while we were in the grocery store.
Any way, we replaced the crumpled bumper today.

I picked up a flux core welder from tractor supply... https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...mig-welder-261

Look for review to come once i get some wire for it and burn stuff....LOL

Side note, i happened to score it for way less than retail, wife now works fir TSC and they had an employee appreciation coupon for 40%off up to $100... coincidentally, 40% of $250 is.... exactly $100....LOL
