Ah. No, because I’ve figured out the technique on how to get off without getting wet. It’s still easier to get out of a Corvette.

Elburn(IL)Lions Club Car Show yesterday. It's a big deal. I was working in the ABATE tent this year so I didn't get many pics.

This one is of my young friend Tim, aka the Inky Tim, and his award winning car, 'The Sultan'.

His car is one of the 'Golden Ticket' cars. They are invited to the show and all are in the front row. The kid has made a name for himself in the custom car world.

My connection to the car is that I picked up the engine for him in Springfield, MO and hauled it back to Elgin, IL. It's a 327 SBC out of another coworkers old 'vette.

I was such a horrible boss.

I dig cars and and tattoos, but don't think I overlooked that skateboard deck in front of the car!

I offered him my old board that I'll never ride again but he declined. I think the decades of stickers may have turned him off.

Hehee....I'm a sticker hoarder. If I do apply stickers it's not on the deck. The deck is a wear item, a consumable to be used up, broken, and/or disposed of/repurposed.

Here's a little weight rack I made for my son.
