Youngest grandson, Owen, and I had a boys night out at the roller rink.

The little guy saw some kids about his age who were on skates for the very first time. He made it his job to show them how to skate.

So I took my Roces roller blades that I have not been on in years. I keep them in an old Descente bike messenger bag that hung on my shoulder when I bicycled to work. While taking a breather, I went through a couple of the pockets to see what I probably forgot about. I found an uncashed expense check from 2010 for $120.00.

This was Tuesday at O'hare.

I've flown American for 26 years and I don't ever recall seeing this old livery 'cept on old TV shows.

This was Monday.I was in N. WI at my brothers place for a couple days of sledding. My first time in over 30 years. My SIL and his Dad were there, too. Anyway, this was at the end of our high speed run. I hit 93 mph and it was a hoot. It was also our final high speed tun as my SILs rental sled turned out to be governed to 65 mph. So, we limited the rest of the time to between 25 and 50 on the trails.

We racked up about 150 miles on Monday. Tuesday was just under 140 and the last 3 hours were in the rain. Bleah!
