Well apparently the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Amazon emailed me that the bike wasn't going to be shipped in the expected time frame and unless I wanted to contact the seller directly they were gonna refund my money to my account. Sooo.. I sent the seller a not so polite email about bad reviews and where's my bike.

Low and behold they responded and apologized, and the bike was shipped 2 days later. I'm definitely not gonna recommend purchasing anything from Moto Pro.

Moto Pro just sent me another email with a link for assembly instructions. And in the email they state "change the factory oil immediately after you assemble it to 10w40 or permanent engine damage may occur".. That kinda confirms what we've known all along about the shipping oil. Out of the 6 China bikes I've got in the last 18 months only the Ice Bear Trike came with quality motor oil in the crankcase.

Well just talked to the carrier about scheduling the delivery of the little quad. It's coming from RPS Incorporated in Texas, imagine that.

B+D 54L 2hp oil free air compressor. Got the upright version for space saving reasons.

Sold my old V2 compressor a couple years ago as I never used it. Lately been finding myself from the neighbour's garage lending his on a weekly basis so figured only stings once to get an another one...

SSR-ATB350 24v ATV for the grandkids. A great fit for the four year olds, a bit tight for the older ones. So, looking into a bigger gas one for the older kids.
I do think Owen is sold on it.

It wasn't today, but I bought a Weber Smokey Mountain..

Today was the 1st cook.. I've never smoked a think in my life before.. Right now, I'm waiting for the pork to rest before pulling it..

Here's some pics.

In the WSM, fat side up. I sliced the skin to try and get some rub through the fat.

1.5 hours in the smoke.. Sprayed with a bit of Apple Juice and Cider Vinegar.

4.5 hours in...

At 165 f. Temp was still going up, but I pulled it to wrap it.

Added the AJ/Cide vinegar from my spray bottle and some brown sugar to be wrapped in.

It's wrapped and back on the smoker.. When I put the temp prob back in, it was showing 170f

Finished and resting.. just waiting to be pulled.

Well, Eli proved a bit too big for the SSR quad, so grandma and grandpa sprung for a bit larger one. This is a dealer photo. His will be white and green.

This one is electric, too. 36Volt 1000W. Has three run modes. Eco gets 6 hours run time at 10/12 mph. Balls to Wall gets you 30mph with a lot less run time. Mid range gets you somewhere in the middle. Weight limit is 220lbs. IFS, disk brake on each front wheel, one on the rear axle, reverse, lights and a year warranty.

Found it at a semi local dealer http://phastquadsnmorellc.com
All electric quads, bikes, and carts. Might look into an adult one for me next year.

i went lens shopping for my old Canon rebel xti... LOL first off picked up an unknown quality, untested, as is Tamron A18 AF 18-250mm f3.5-6.3 LD Di II Macro IF Lens, overal visual quality looks perfectly fine, wondering if the seller doesnt have any camera to test it on...LOL scored for $35

and then picked up a tried and true "nifty Fifty", 50mm F/1.8 STM lens only used 3 times, and is the newer version that has a 7 petal aperature instead of the older 5 petal that gave really wierd pentagonal Bokeh where the 7 is much cleaner more rounded Bokeh... scored that for $65...

LOL i dont have that problem with either of my bodies.... neither the 10mp XTI or the original 6mp digital rebel have capability to do video...LOL i scored the rebel from goodwill for $18 with no lens... i figured with the 18-55mm, the 35-80mm, the 80-200mm, the 18-200mm, the 85mm prime (thats a real nice opteka manual focus only one) and the 500mm f8 prime (another manual that has a 2x teleconverter to make a 1000mm lens) i could buy a body for $18..LOL the wife got that one to learn coupled with the 18-200 tamron that was in the fold already, and we went out to shoot at the Cornell Botanical gardens last week, she got better shots than me, because she wasnt swapping back and forth between 4 lenses....LOL that was her first experience with dSLR.... it sure is nice to have that "vacation lens" super telephoto range... but its also nice having a few nice primes, like a 85mm f1.8.... we shall see once the lenses arive, my camera bag may end up the 18-270, and the 50mm, and MAYBE the 85, but its a bit of a pain as it has a "dandelion chip" to make focus easier, but i am still fine tuning it...its not perfect... the bokeh though... thats to die for....LOL

Building permit for my new shop! Surprisingly painless.... In and out in under two hours and that included requesting our original plot plan from 1979 archives. WOO HOO!
