The inverse of the tt250 idea is that I can get a Hawk and basically do every other upgrade to it with that same money.

Put a dollar value on your free time. Might make the decision easier. I know it plays into my accounting more and more as I get older.

I'm Sorry but I agree Hawk guys! Inverted forks a counterbalanced engine, led signals, 50/50 tires, digital gauge, braided break lines, with stellar customer support for only $500 more delivered fully assembled......thats a no brainer! if it was that price a few months ago I would be riding one.

You have my blessing Dan.

I'm seeing a $1000 difference. $1399 vs $2395

am I missing an opportunity?

Yeah, its the assembly and documentation fees that send it over the top. The point is, if this guy buys my welder I have two choices I could make with that sale.

1. Buy a TT250 and put the upgrades I have sitting here for my Hawk on it, but otherwise ride a TT250 as it comes from the factory. The upgraded suspension and charging system being the biggest changes. I personally don't care about the counter balanced motor.

2. Buy a Hawk, and replace all of the upgrades done to it over the last year, which when I add it all up would almost cost as much as a TT250.

Many of the upgrades I did to the Hawk, minus the handle bars and levers, come as standard on the TT, like LED signals.

I always do that. I figured people would be used to it by now.

There, I stopped thinking.

I just placed an order for a Hawk.

I am the most familiar with it, and I wasn't done tinkering with my last one.
