Do you have a Teikei carburetor? I have a Teikei MV28 carburetor in my Zong, and it does an excellent job.

What's awesome is Sandy on guitar. I love how she has to wear a diving helmet, yet they can have pyrotechnics. Conrats on getting it running! I bought a complete Zong wiring harness for peanuts from Taobao; maybe that would help you.

That's a good carburetor. Personally, I would not change it. My Teikei MV28 carburetor has performed flawlessly for almost 57,000 miles. My carb is virtually identical to the Teikei MV28 carburetor installed on all the recent models of the Yamaha TW200 motorcycles, except my carburetor uses a single throttle cable. Your carb is slightly larger than mine.

Good work on the starter. I suggest you check the light switch, connections, and wiring.

You can probably get a suitable replacement flasher at the local, auto parts store. Do you have a 2-prong, or 3-prong flasher?
