Mad Going backward

Monday, so go to first stop in san antonio and find out the serial number is no longer even there at the hotel assigned to work at...crap. go out to the kia sorrento and bam, no start. How is this possible (battery is only 15 months old... O'Reilly Auto Parts), test posts and indicates 12.8vdc. turn key to access and dash lights flipping out. Then retest battery and it shows 5.3vdc? My dashboard dummy lights had been randomly appearing and disappearing over the last year but always dutifully started (hope this was caused by this flaky battery) no sign of damage in the fuse box. Crap! So my alternatives? Call a tow truck, or find a battery. Google shows auto zone. 0.9 mile from my location so I start walking. Get this 40lb battery and walk it back. Try walking a mile with 40lbs of dead lead! After walking my fat ass back, get it installed and fires right up could have been a lot worse. Lost time and money today, but you gotta take the good with the bad.

Got a few more items today for my "leaky project"... need to make sure the rims are true/straight before I get new Tires and also go Tubeless on my Kawasaki KLR 650, rear rim will get sealed with "Seal All and Goop" and a "Napa Tubeless Motorcycle Valve Stem"... the front rim will probably go with the "Tubliss" due to the rim design

I also got the rest of the items to actually get the "Doo" done on the KLR 650... would have helped if I remembered to order this "specialty tool" to remove the bolt when I got all the upgraded Eagle Mike Parts months ago

Got the order in just in time and the parts ship today and should be here Monday or Tuesday depending on shipping

A Russian u-joint.

I need to run this down to the local Advance Auto/CarQuest to see if they can match it. There is a supposed CarQuest cross reference but I can't confirm it. Otherwise, it's $40 a pop for $12 part.

So the bios was automatically updated on my win 10 desktop and I went to open my quickbools 2010 and , forget about it. Tried several things and never could get it to open. Quickbooks 2017 is regularly $299. Was on sale thru 12/1. Actually got the deal yesterday for $179.00 can't believe it finally won one so to speak. Still cost too dam much, guess it's cheaper than an accountant.

These software guys really know how to work it. (Auto destruct sequence reset now,ha)
