I bought a set of those too, but without the screen printed name on them (I planned on paining mine). Nice touch! How come you pulled the tank?

I dissembled pretty much all of it. I am going to get it back together yet. I want to replace the Brake fluid and change the oil. I might do the forks also. I am going to replace the chain, I probably am going to remove the rear swing arm to grease it. I am going to remove the catalytic and see what else needs to be done with the stock exhaust I kinda like the look of the chrome cover on the muffler. Going to wrap the exhaust with the tape. That bike has risers on the top clamp. Are those stock or are you a T-Rex like me?

2LZ put those on the TT250 and I needed them because I ride standing up often when I'm off road. I have the Tusk 30mm risers.

Here is a list what I have used for parts and any comments.
Hand Guards Overall positive. I wish I would have just installed the right away instead of after I situated and tie wrapped all the controls and cables on the handle bars. Handle Bar Grips Negative after removing the left grip I tried the new one way to loose I will need adhesive to hold it on not sure if I like this Idea these may go back. NGK Ridium Spark Plug Positive had to gap it it was a bit over. Nibbi Air Filter Positive it is a tight fit but works. LED Headlamp Neutral The connector is long and the mounting would not be secure I used some silicone to secure the mounting bracket to the housing. Tusk Handlebar Risers 7/8" Bars, 30mm Height Positive I like the feel of height of the bars when a bit higher up. Inline fuel filter and new fuel line. Local parts store. And no I can not give you a year and a model of the bike I want to install it on. I really need to find a parts store with an old timer that knows parts right off the top of his head. Yet to do new chain Unibear® 428H 128 Links Mirrors I need to decide what I want to do with the exhaust anybody have a link to a mod to the existing instead of a replace? I know I can remove the catalytic but what else should I be looking at doing? The carb is a PZ30 this one is OK to rejet correct? So that is what is in store. |

VERY nice looking bike! I really like the dash cluster on those a lot.

Goat, man you are really doing a thorough job! I originally tore mine apart too and electric taped the harness s for protection and electric greased all the terminals.

Yup I followed an expert.... what is that old saying imitation is the best form of flattery. The chain I am getting I also followed your advice and I need to look up what you did for the carb do you happen to have a link I can use.
