Do you deliver by-the-slice? I could use a snack.... I'll expect you in about 10 hours. ;-)

Actually, I get a few deliveries by the slices, but generally 3 or 4 slices at a time. At certain times of both Saturday and Sunday, it is as if a signal goes off and suddenly we have a bunch of customers lined up seemingly for miles; I would LOVE the opportunity get out for ten hours, lol.

The Perfect Table

Took Mrs. 2LZ out to eat at our local place in Volcano. Found the perfect table outside on the patio!

What a cool gig! Especially in Hollywood. I love to go there just to check out the diverse group of people you see and meet there.

The Squatters are getting big.

They are so used to being around us that we can walk from the house to one of the cars and drive away without a second glance from them. Now if they'd just do a better job on the lawn.

I finally started building myself a little bunkie at camp ,I am allowed to build 106 sq.feet without a permit so I came up with my own solution .I built a 8x16 foot barrel barge, then built a 8x16 cabin on top of it .Its a barge not a camp or a bunkie .Not finished but dried in at least .

I have a Grumman scout Jon boat I use to haul materials to my camp across the river ,it works well but the back of it is very low to the water so I always have to pull it out of the river or the waves fill it up with water .I spent 15 minutes and made up a roller ramp out of some leftover pressure treated deck spindles, and some leftover pvc pipe .It works very well ,and I have now built another 9 of them for others .I was pulling the boat up easily with one hand ,but have now attached a boat trailer winch that I don’t have any pictures of .

20190919_142411_resized_1.jpgI had a very wet commute home today and I wasn't in the part of Houston that was hit the hardest by TS Imelda. Trucks and SUVs were OK for the most part but most cars could not get through.
-Flooding closed I-10 between Spacetown and Beaumont for several hours. The town of Winnie is completely flooded. Scary times.

A friend of mind just sent me a picture from Beaumont. Water was up to the bottom of the traffic lights at the intersection of MLK and College.

My beloved Dawn and my Scrambler, doing what we loved. Really haven't ridden the bike much since then.
