So we should have reports of it reaching Los Angeles mid next week. Then we can watch it hang out for a month waiting to be unloaded.

Never used it myself. As you have said, the shipping prices are pretty steep. Going direct to Taobao is going to be best I have been looking for alternative front sprockets of the right size just to see what was available , seems there as rare as hens teeth .if the AJP PR5 uses the same engine then I did find this chains and sprockets are listed under AJP SERVICE PARTS tab https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adis-...=page_internal this is a uk site but if these do fit then it then it proves they do exist |

http://www.jtsprockets.com/catalogue The AJP spockets are available in 12T and 13T sizes. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adis-...=page_internal The 'B' stamp on the sprocket leads me to believe AJP is getting them from China. I can easily find the 13T and 14T sprockets for sale on Taobao.

Wushan is a pretty city. The following view is looking southeast where a bridge spans the Yangtze River downstream from Wushan. The Minben is right near the bridge at this moment.

I just visited the CSC blog. Joe found the same ship tracking website as I. Here is a link to follow the voyage of the Minben to Shanghai.
http://www.fleetmon.com/en/vessels/Minben_3010207 It seems the Minben is an inland container feeder. It doesn't appear to be large enough to be an oceangoing vessel. I assume the RX3 containers will be transferred to a larger container vessel when the Minben reaches Shanghai. Here is a YouTube video of the Minben taken during another voyage.

I estimate the Minben is about one-fifth of the way from Chongqing to Shanghai at this time.

It's more fun to watch the Minben sail down the Yangtze River. Even watching a ship sail across the Pacific Ocean is not as fun as watching the progress of an inland container feeder. Watching a ship wait for a month to unload is worse than watching paint dry.

YAY! What other MC buying experience has THIS!!
Great guys! Keep it up. Loving this, (enough to get off the wallet and be a sponsor! Money with my mouth..hehe or close as can be!
However, should we get some leg breakers together to unload these, and not be just circling LA, indefinitely? I would be a baseball bat sponsor (looking at 30's union films, the weapon of choice! to get my zong ASAP! J/K I think...! |

Very cool guys. I was going to post one of those videos of a ship loosing all of its containers overboard into the sea but I decided that would be too mean and cruel to you guys. We'll just keep this a good vibe thread.

I was just pondering what other motorcycle in history has generated this much enthusiasm or has people glued to their puters watching it's progress? You'd think we were getting mail order brides . sheeezzzz. So far we've talked about a turbo for it ,changed rear wheel ass, changed stator, wind screen, added goodies, broke in motor just so, learn how to adjust valves and change oil, luggage, wiring, lights, mapped efi, changed exhaust, riding them across America and Baja , adding center stand, electric plugin doodads for it, camoed it, figured out ignition lock, changed switching on RH side for accessary power, extra lighting, compared it , scrutinized it, fell in love with it. Did I miss anything? rj |

Nineteen minutes ago the Minben passed the city of Bu Zhuanghe, sailing southeast at 6.7 knots.
