Just got back from a quick ride with my Son. We rode to the fishing club pond. And it looked like a good time to take a pic

I had mine tested and inspected at Venom Motorsports and I think it was worth the extra for it. Normally I would be inclined to save but I wanted to maximize riding time and that is the case.

I don't hear anything that I shouldn't.

I will say that the engine does have the classic Chinese small engine lawnmower motor sound effects pack installed in the ECU so I think a new muffler is in store for me, maybe something from Kemimoto.

It gets hot too so I'm gonna have to copy Jerry and do that oil cooler.

I also promised my lady that it was money saving time

Edit: I went to inspect the bike again and saw what you guys are talking about with the chain guard

Thanks for pointing out the melted reflector. I'll have to see if mine is getting messed up.

I took those rear reflectors off of my X-pect. Made it much easier to mount the license plate. Probably do the same with the KPX.

I don’t think I want to buy one of these. It seems like anytime anyone buys one, it does nothing but rain at their location. Ha ha

That's happened with every new bike I've bought.

St Louis just got record breaking rain and flooding, but the timing was off. Unless it was a warning to me personally to not buy the KPX.

Jerry do you think the oil cooler you used on your x22r would work with the kpx?

Yes, but I would install it like I did on the KPX and not like on the X22R. I wouldn't use the adapter. I would hook up direct.

No issues with the adapter. But why use an adapter when you can do a cleaner install?

Agreed I wont work with out the adapter anyway because the banjos are m12 not m10. Just wasnt super into cutting line and clamping it. I think I am going to go with the same set up you have on your kpx

My KPX runs hot. I want to add an oil cooler to it. I have checked out the link you sent a while back, but I'm confused on the banjo part. I need to buy separate m12 banjo lines, or which part needs adapting? Thank you

Venom emailed me that Lifan affirms they are sending replacement chain guards and reflectors when available.

Are you running 15w50 or 20w50 oil for hot weather use? That will help.

Look on eBay for hoses. I found rubber hoses with a wire coil around them to keep them from kinking, with a 10mm banjo (engine side), for about $16 each. The other end is open, and you use the barbed adapter that comes with the cooler. Might be possible to find the braided stainless lines like Jerry used.

I guess we are the early adopters (leaving to get mine in about 1/2 hour). Lifan is getting a couple of minor issues fixed on a great bike.
