I have been looking around for a while for one that would fit right... that was the best I could find locally. I'm a bit lost why Action Packers are so expensive and a softer, thinner plastic.
It's hard to judge by only size specs what would fit best as some are tapered like this one.. the top/widest measurement would throw you off. Didn't feel like spending 100$+ for a ATV specific box and have to hack up the rear rack to fit it. |

Anyways.... Went to start the Rhino tonight and it wouldn't crank. Put the charger on it... nothing.
Turned out to be the electric foot brake switch wasn't pulling out enough on the spring. Had to hold it out by hand while I turned it over. Rigged it for now and will be fine for tomorrows adventure. Will have to work something out with it though. All that holds that spring tension was a hand bend in it. Got an assorted box of springs... think I have a better match. I would rather keep it functional.. it does serve a safety purpose but if all else fails I will bypass it. |

gio taotao
hello.... I was referring to post 152..... he was talking about his GIO... And it was labeled a TAOTAO.... Sorry if you got confused.... even thru you live in the USA,,.. The brand TAOTAO who makes and sells a lot of brands and models... just labels them a different model ... but it is the same brand here.... whether it is a GIO OR TAOTAO.. why do you call it SPAM... that is info for a lot of riders.. especially if they need info or parts..???

foot brake
as for your foot brake switch out of adjustment.... where the plastic lock nut threads onto the switch.... ONCE adjusted... put s big gob of silicione on it to keep it front coming out of adjustment..... we had that same trouble up here in CANADA with them..

No plastic lock nut. Seems to be a different version then what you described.
Fiddled with it when out on the trails a couple of times. Think some water got down in there and did some internal damage to it. It might have been seized when I went to use it for the first time in a while and put stress on the spring bend.... which lost it's setting/stretched. Wasn't going in and out smoothly after some use. Probably needs some WD40 worked into it... grease the shaft and some sort of rubber condom put over it to keep the dirt and water out. Will post some pics of it later in the week. |
