Oh, I dunno. 100 miles. Temp never hit 35. Prairie winds. Enough for mid March.

We call them there sausages 'bratwurst', or brats, in this neck of the woods. Cooked in beer or burned to a crisp on the grill. Yum.

Woof!

For grins, I swapped out the 132.5 High speed jets for 137.5. 72 mph per my GPS and cylinder head temp never exceeded 370F. Was still pulling but I ran out of unpatrolled road and had to throttle down before hitting town. Good thing, too. Local cops were doing radar today.

Aaaannnddd...I passed a Prius.

I'd believe you today, just because of the horizontal rain and crummy temps where I'm at but I expect I will be mowing the grass when I get back home.

After mowing semi commercially for 25 years I have decided this will be my last year. Saving what's left of my shoulder (weedeater shoulder) for my full time occupation.

I have two yards besides mine. The dog yard takes 20 minutes from start to finish and I usually schedule it when I have another reason to go to town. The other one is only 3 miles away and take me about an hour.

Both are done on an as needed basis.

I have a church and 2 others in corpus christi , last of a whole string of accounts I had over the years (these were the last of the ones that didn't bitch) takes me about 5 hrs along with drive time. But ready to say good bye. Used to say it was grocery money but I get plenty of groceries now (too much)

Ready to turn the page...

Passed that minivan today, with Mrs. C in the sidecar. Passed another Prius, too. Annndddd, wait for it, a Vette.

Okay, so the idiot Vette pilot was doing forty in the left lane of a fifty zone. Beat up Corollas were passing this guy on the right and flipping him off. On this stretch of Randall Road, you better be doing sixty in the right lane or get off.

Scared a guy in a Prius the other day. He was going 50 in a 65 zone. I stomped on the 5.3 and he hugged his steering wheel.
