As far as the foot pegs go, it looks very promising. They appear to have the same angle and width to the swivel end as the stock pegs. They should go right on with minimal fuss.

Well, this style of foot peg won't work without some sort of modification. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Moto...94414c4dxwxIkp
The holes for the pin are too far to the rear, so it doesn't seat against the frame to keep them level and they just flop down. The simplest way to solve this would be to weld in some sort of spacer for it to rest against. There isn't enough space to drill new holes without overlapping the others, and I wouldn't trust the integrity of them. This style is far more promising: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Bill...ceBeautifyAB=0

The others look like they may work better. Even if the tail piece was to long, at least you could grind off until it fit.

The others are more likely to work, but are also twice as expensive, which is kind of annoying. I don't mind modifying things if necessary, but it would be nice to find more bolt in solutions for a lot of guys that don't have a welder or access to a machine shop. Keeping things in the scope of the average person is a big part of what I like to try and do. I am going to order a set of cheap KLR foot pegs and see how well they may work before I go forking out $60 for the set in that link. If these don't reach then I am going to take a page out of those Fastway pegs I really like and give them "adustable camber" bolts to fill the gap lol.

I am still waiting on the MCO. Supposedly there was a delay, but I am going to call again Monday to try and squeeze an update out of them. My Cluster should be here Monday. Matt refunded me the cost even though I told him otherwise. I was hoping to get everything else buttoned up this weekend, but what was a sniffle last week has turned into a full blown sinus and chest cold and I feel like absolute crap. I am hoping to try and get some stuff done tomorrow, but with the way I feel it probably won't be much.

Nothing is really wrong with the stock ones. My size 14 EEEE feet is the problem. The stock pegs are just too small to be comfortable, and I don't feel the most secure when standing on them. Something just a bit longer and/or wider would be very welcome.

OK, pegs are too short (link to youtube-Fats Waller "You're Feet's Too Big".) I had that problem with my Red Hunter, and a bunch of other non- American bikes. What I did was take a piece of 1/8th inch steel, hacksaw notches in it, bent it around the outside of the peg and had the loop sticking out another 3/4 inch beyond the end of the pegs. When I went to put them on, I spotted three 3/8ths nuts each side with brazing rod, clamped the 1/8th steel pretty tight around the nuts, then Bronze Welded the whole thing together...ARH

This was the biggest take-away for me. Matt, you're a good dude.

What I am trying to do is find at least a semi bolt-on option for guys that may not have welders. Admittedly, it is looking less likely but I am sure I can come up with something with the KLR650 pegs. Yeah, he is.

To continue the "Matt is a good dude" theme...
Got home from work and slapped that bad boy in first thing. Dinner could wait lol. That allowed me to button up the wiring and get everything on the right side tidied up and installed. I still need to do the oil cooler and chain on this side as well as work out the burrito tube mount to make it more permanent, but for the most part, this side is done. Starting to finally look like a Hawk. There is light at the end of the tunnel! I figure a couple more nights and this weekend and hopefully I can at least get a first start in, if not a first ride - unless the MCO actually arrives before Friday so I can register the darn thing.
