Over the weekend, I ordered my wife a new helmet from cyclegear. Arrived yesterday, so she can ride her scooter on the road again.

Guys, I got a serious problem.......I bought another bike. I sold my V Star and bought an 09' KLR650 I already have a 07' KLR650. My wife looked at me like I had lost my ever lovin mind.

She said "Why do you need 2 of the same bike?"

I was being a smartass and said "Honey, they are different colors!"

That is when I thought her lid would flip and her ears turned real red. If looks could kill, am I right?

I told her the truth, it is a different bike. I love riding different bikes but only want one beautiful incredibly understanding woman in my life. (After 28 years it does not work anymore but she walked off...so I think I am OK.)

I really did not need it but could not pass it up for $2,000 with just 15K miles.

I guess I will clean it up and determine which one I like better and keep that one and sell the other.

I really don't need anything for any of my bikes, so I just bought more beer for the shop fridge...you know, just in case there's a shortage or something.

I found some of those copies are really good. I HAD (stolen) a ZT 0550 and it was magnificent. I have a copy of a 0560 and it is pretty darn good. No where near the real deal but I guarantee it will not break. Very durable.

How do your pivot bearings feel smooth?

Sometimes those hotel points I earn are good to have.
This showed up about three weeks ago but I had more important things to deal with. Anywho, got it put together this evening. Compared to my Weber Genesis II, it was a piece of cake to assemble. Just need to get a propane tank and I can start burning food.
