Mt. Saint Helens in foreground, then Spirit Lake, and Mount Rainier in the background.

Two good volcanoes deserve a third.

I have climbed to the caldera rim of Mount Saint Helens. The highest peak I have climbed is Mount Adams. However, Mount Rainier is a killer. After falling 18 vertical feet, including one bounce, off Disappointment Cleaver, I hung up the crampons.

God proved His mercy with you on Rainier. Mount Adams is a big broad shouldered massive mountain. Intimidating to even fly up close to.

I was scheduled to climb Mount Shasta this summer but developed a significant back issue that prevented me from going. Hopefully next year.

I'd also love to do Mt. St. Helens. No crampons required.

Amen! I escaped with minor bruises, and I told everyone at the time it was a miracle. I still testify today, my escape from serious injury was a miracle.

Come back to Idaho, and we will climb Mount Borah, the tallest peak in Idaho. With an elevation of 12,667 feet, it is over 400 feet taller than Mount Adams. Here's a photograph of my RX3 in front of Mount Borah.

The mountian provides an excellent background for your very cool motorcycle, which I bet I am safe in assuming at this point is not stock ;-)

Looks awesome, how many miles and how long have you had it?

BTW I am NOT looking for higher!

You're correct; it's not stock. Here are some, but not all, of my modifications.

Substituted a 55W/60 H4 bulb for the stock, 35W HS1 bulb.
Cut a ventilation hole in rear of headlight to dissipate extra heat from hotter bulb.
Installed Tusk D-Flex hand guards.
Installed Oxford Premium Touring heated grips.
Installed auxiliary work lights.
Laced a Warp9, 2.50 rim to rear hub, replacing the stock 3.00 rim.
Replaced stock fork oil with Mobil1 Synthetic ATF.
Replaced stock trunk with J.C. Whitney, Garage Pro trunk.
Mounted Shinko 244, size 5.10-17 tire on rear wheel.
Mounted Shinko 244, size 3.00-18 tire on front wheel.

Plus several other, top-secret modifications, which will be revealed later.

I received the bike in April of this year, and I have ridden it over 13,000 miles. It's really a nice little motorcycle.

Interesting. I had observed that your top trunk was different than most. Also interesting is that you went with a smaller rim. Why was that? Quicker handling? Wider range of off-road tires? You make good choices in heated grips. The warm grips on your Zong saved me one cold rainy day in Idaho.

13,000 miles. An excellent start. Are you still using your Honda, Kawasaki, and other Zong very much? How does your new bike to on the pavement? Is it safe on the highway?
