I got a rain check on the Harbor Freight benchtop sandblast cabinet, and I'm going to pick up a two-stage air compressor from Lowe's today. The sandblast cabinet should be in on Tuesday, and the manager is letting me use my 25% holiday coupon on it, too. Then I'll hopefully be able to start digging into some of the Honda parts and maybe get one of the vintage Honda's put back together and running. That would sure be nice. I'm also off to the Yamaha dealership to order front fork rebuild parts, fork oil, and a new rear shock for the V-Star. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the Bambino is getting his first motorcycle!

Hit up a local estate sale this morning. Snagged a Minn-kota 65 trolling motor, a water proof boat bag, and a box each of wet and dry flies. $29 for all.

Trolling motor is for my son in law. My Dad gave him his boat, motor, and trailer. Boat bag is for Mrs. C. She wanted one like mine. The flies are for moi, if I ever get a chance to wet a line again.

We do a lot of aluminum welding, and have been eyeing a small portable welder that we can take to job sites, and do repairs on thin gauge aluminum tubing, and plug into 110 or 220. Small repairs. Researched and purchased a Miller 211 and spool gun. (we started years ago with Miller and all our equipment is Miller, there are other good brands on the market as well) Wow, holy owl crap, this tool is phenomenal! The mrs likes to do small ornamental projects and now she can weld as low as .023 wire. We can put this machine in a pickup, with a small bottle of either argon or bi mix, easily. Also went to the harbor freight company and procured a small cart for this little machine.

Just a money spending fool this week. New exhaust system and rear control arms from Quadratec for the Wrangler. Advance Auto coughed up an O2 sensor for the same. Farm & Fleet supplied me with an O2 socket.

Seems to me that I should get more than fourteen years from an OEM exhaust.

What kind of exhaust, Cheesy? Axle back? Cat back? Headers back?
Let us know how it sounds.

MBRP Stainless cat back system. As much as I like Borla, I just could not make myself spend the extra for a fourteen year old vehicle.

I bought another house for the investment portfolio today. Or at least, I put it under contract and had my bank set up the funds transfer. The paperwork should be here in Phoenix around the end of next week for me to sign. Investment properties are way different than owner-occupied homes. Not sure when you really "buy" an investment property since there are so many differences between closing on one of them and a residence. In any event, that's my big purchase for this week.

It's little bit louder but not annoyingly so. Sounds really good when I let off the gas and when I downshift. The install itself was easy. Accessing everything was a PITA.
