Zongshen RX3 carbureted version mods & repairs

How difficult would it be to convert the POS fuel injection system in the US models to work with a carburetor? Complete re-wire? Or can the ECU run the ignition while the carburetor actually properly meters the fuel? And the million dollar question of course is where to get the parts? There's not a lot on AliExpress for any Zongshen bike.

I have no idea if the existing EFI ECU can run it though, I would be surprised if it does. Most likely you need the ECU and wiring harness for a carbed RX3.

The attached picture belongs to my RX3 2016 (Argentinian version) with a TK (Teikei?) MV34 12R 5L06 carburetor. The brass screw is for PMS adjustment.
This model was advertised as a replacement for the Yamaha XG250/XT250 motorcycle.
