I'm getting on board
Hi Guys I am a daily rider from just outside Melbourne Australia. I have been riding pretty daily for the last 5 or 6 years.
My main interest in motorcycles is Enfields of India. This keen interest has gotten me to the point where I am looking for something to ride 40 kms to and from work every day while I finish building my extremely developed bullet proof 350 Enfield Bullet. I have decided on monday to go and buy my self a Kinlon 200 Super Moto. It looks like a good cheap commuter bike and I am quite used to the daily maintenance involved in riding a non japanese bike. Wish me luck |

Welcome!
X2 on the photos. I really like those Indian Enfields, although not as much as the CJ750 (minus the sidecar).

Welcome to these forums! If you get time, I would also love to see some photos from "down under."

Thanks for the welcome guys, it seems you have a really active forum here which is great. I am at work at the moment but once I get home I will put a few pics of bike trips up.
I am trying to find out as much info as I can about the loncin 193cc motor that is used in the kinlon 200 I am about to buy. If any body has any links they can point me to that would be great. Weldangrind I am a huge fan of the cj750 especially the solo model. I have looked into getting one a few times but any thing already in the country they want huge dollars for and the few people I contacted about importing one made me feel a bit nervous. Hopefully as I become more familiar with this forum I might be able to put one in the shed (SWMBO won't be pleased). |

SWMBO! That's awesome, I hadn't heard that one.
One of our forum members imported a CJ750 into the States; I encourage you to search the forums for it. Perhaps he can guide you. Cheers!

That’s interesting that the Enfield’s came up, they sell them here in the US and they are not bad prices on the 499cc, that’s all they are offering the base model is just under $6k.
