Hello, finally.

I've been lurking around this site for around 2 years now and have never properly introduced myself (I apologize). My name is Brian and I live in West Virginia an hour outta Pittsburgh. I'm 20 years old and have been riding since I was 8.

After buying a 08 Honda Rebel 250 in 08 and taking a major loss after outgrowing it (which happened in a matter of months) I decided two things:
1. Never buy a name-brand bike unless if I get a steal on it
2. I hate road bikes.

I did a lot of research on Lifan after seeing a few of the gy5's at Wheeling Cycle for $2200 and found them much cheaper online, which is even better news. Working part time and being a full time student doesn't exactly leave me with a lot of money to spare so the price was definitely appealing. I bought a GY5 off of xtrememoto.net and the rest is history. Not one problem since and I've had it going on 2 years now, riding it every chance I get.

I now have an 08 Lifan GY5 and 06 Lifan GY3 and I just received a Zongshen Sierra in the mail this morning. I can't wait to get it together.

To all who keep this site so informative and friendly, I commend you. Thanks for all of your help and information and if my 2 cents is ever worth anything I'll post it and hopefully help someone else out.

Welcome!

Great to bring on a new member, and one with good experiences with their China Bikes. I'm sure you'll be able to contribute somewhere, if only to toss a good line in here and there.

Welcome again!!

Hello Brian! So, you finally got the Zong eh? You will have to post us some pics when you get a chance, we all love the Zongs 8). I prefer the dual sport bikes over the road bikes as well, my Konker is my first D/S bike and I am loving it! Enjoy the ride!

Thanks for your willingness to contribute. Even if the majority of members are aware of what you're posting, you could be helping out a lurker.

Thank you, Allen. I saw the lift occur 14 seconds into the video. However, I am betting that kid could not lift a crated Zong out of the back of his pickup truck!

You could too. I've shaken your hand...and seen you fling 300lbs quads around no problem.
