He takes good care of it and only rides once a month so it should last him the rest of his life. I joke with him alot of times that I could buy 6 china bikes for what he gave for the yammy, and if I rode one exactly like he rides his it would last just as long, but I would have 5 left at the end. Of course the prestige issue doesn't apply to china bikes in his eys
Or buy a nice CB and a good used truck to put it in. That Yamaha cost more than my Q, my ATV, and my Ford pickup all put together!

Spud, I'm sure that you've been going into withdrawal, now that your Zong is complete. How about an air filter upgrade report? You could try a Uni, K&N or Twin Air filter that is made for the TW200 airbox, and see if there is a performance gain. At the very least, you'll improve filtration, which is always a good thing.

When that's behind you, I could help you find other ways to spend your money.

Thank you for your kind offer, WG! I like the Zong air box as it is; it is very well designed for off-road riding. However, I am currently considering several other modifications for my Zong.

In addition, I enjoy my new, 21-inch front wheel so much, I am examining my options for different front tires. I enjoy the Cheng Shin C858 currently mounted on my front wheel, but I am also considering the Michelin AC10, Kenda K760, K777, and K775 front tires.

That particular modification is not in my plans, Doc. As the founder, and self-appointed President, of The Cult of the Zong, I have sworn off nitrous oxide injection. I believe I would set a bad example if I should err, and blow up my 167FML engine.

After riding today on some muddy gravel roads, I was very pleased with my size 110/100-18, Kenda, K760 rear tire. I was also very happy with the performance of my Cheng Shin, C858 front tire.

Although I like the C858 tire, I think I am also going to experiment with a Kenda, K777 front tire; I have read very good things about the K777 tire.
