Max load on most of the gy's is about 300 lbs. They are very uncomfortable two-up with the slanted seat. The passanger is driven into the driver, especially during braking. I've done a few short trips with my 10 yr old son and it pretty much sucked. Plan on it being a one-up bike for the majority of your miles.
