That's a good key to have, but I'll be honest I can't stand the wind chill factor. It's like sleeping bag ratings, there are just too many factors that can influence it's meaning. I'd rather the weatherman tell me the expected temp and wind speed for the day and let me decide how I'll adjust to it. Besides, they never tell me how cold it's gonna feel going 65mph with 25mph headwinds on a 5 degree day and they definitly don't tell me what it's gonna feel like, after 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 2 hours of riding in those conditions.

How do they factor in the humidity? Its humid year round here.

I didn't feel as cold sometimes in MN when the weather was 20F than when its 30F here in Atlanta.

I don't know but I agree, humididy has a lot to do with it, in the heat and in the cold.

I would typically ride here until it got to freezing. Normally that is about one month out of the year.

There is no doubt about it; humidity gives the cold an extra "bite." :( I much prefer the drier climate of Idaho, than the wetter climate of my home state, Pennsylvania.
