Yeah the zero is pretty neat, but expensive and a somewhat limited range. Not bad if it meets your needs though.
The Brammo Enertia is a good looking bike but even more limited range and higher cost. The best one I've seen is the elecrtic GPRS http://www.electricmotorsport.com/st...otorcycles.php

Neat bikes, but I think I would miss the infernal combustion engine... How do you make an electric bike sound tougher? Just my 2 cents, no intent of raising anyones ire.

Can you ask them if they're street legal in BC? I tried to get an answer on that by email, I also tried talking to ICBC, but I don't think that they are.
