200cc Cyclone ATV

This seems to be the standard beast type 200cc China quad. Price is slightly higher than the beast depending on auction, but the thing looks a little more polished and of course pics dont mean a darn thing, but still.

What I,m curious about is this engine.

Is this a better brand than the Zongshen gio uses? I know I've seen the name in some of our bike forums here.

Anyone have experience with it?

The only difference I can see between that quad and the Gio is the remote reservoir front shocks. Who knows if they're actually any better.

I'd be inclined to go with Zong over Loncin. The Loncin motors I've seen (older ones anyway) looked as if they were sand cast. I'd bet that Zong stuff has tighter tolerances and some form of QA.

Thanks for your opinion. These 200cc quads seem to be a universal design with a few cosmetic changes tossed in.

Lost wax, sand, interesting topic. I used to do audits on some of our suppliers. Casting process is really neat to watch. One of the million things I wish I had learned more about.
