See the tear in the air box tube? That's not the only one. Got another up by the carb.

I'm looking for filters for these things now. Tried a UNI but the choke lever gets in the way.

Forgive me for being ignorant, but why does the choke lever get in the way? It appears you've built a snorkel, do you not put the air filter at the end of the snorkel?? I'm a bit confused.

The kazuma came with athe same filter setup. It was torn like that too. I had not problems with the UNI knockoff filter I put on it.

You can get a filter with an angeled mount. It will allow you to rotate the element away from interferance points.

Thanks for the replies.

Weldgrinder: It is actually a knockoff. You can see it on the right step under the roll of tape. I got it to check the fit on the kids various quads/bikes.

TurboT: The chock lever/mount is on the right side of the carb and protrudes to the rear of the carb far enough that it prevents the filter from fully seating on the carb flange. I have to throw away the snorkle cuz it can't be fixed & I can't find another.

Katoranger: Which filter did you use? Can you tell me where you got it?

Cal25: Great idea! Thanks. I been looking at them for my Roketa 200 bike but did not think of the quads at the time. Brain farts are sometimes a result of oldtimers disease.

A 15 degree filter might solve your problem, but can you trim or bend the choke lever to suit the existing Uni?

Won't work. I looked at it & there is no way to move the choke thing out of the way.
The bent filter will work tho. Thanks.

Maybe just buy a length of flex hose and make back like it was. Or a short section of hose to move the Uni back might work.
