Hi , just introducing myself , I am Geoff from South Africa, got my self a
SKYGO Super GY same as the zs200gy just a different sticker kit

here is a pic

and this is where I ride

I bought the bike with 1400 kms on the clock
serviced it myself , thanks to the info on this forum!

Hi Spudrider , in South Africa the Zongshen branded bike is distributed by Kawasaki SA so I can walk into any Kawa Dealer and order tires ,at a
premium of course.

I was at the Kawasaki dealership 2 days ago , and spares is not a problem.

what they don't have in stock , they order ,at worst a 3 week wait.

I am not surprised by your response. I was aware that Kawasaki SA is the distributor for Zongshen motorcycles in South Africa.

As you know, the LZX200GY-2 motorcycle employs current technology; the air box, carburetor, engine, and electrical system of this motorcycle are virtually identical with those on the 2009 Yamaha TW200 motorcycle.

Also, Zongshen sells the LZX200GY-2 motorcycle all over the world. This motorcycle is very popular in China, where the dual sport tires are standard equipment. I am quite confident the dual sport tires for the LZX200GY-2 are in abundant supply everywhere in the world, except for the United States of America. :( I am amazed that Zongshen International will not ship a large quantity of these tires to the United States. :roll: I am also surprised that Zongshen does not include the dual sport tires as standard equipment on the American version of this motorcycle. :roll:

I keep hearing rumors that the LZX200GY-2 motorcycle will soon be unavailable for sale in the United States. Once again, I do not understand the logic in this decision. The Yamaha TW200 motorcycle sold here is very popular, and it has been in continuous production since 1987. However, even if Zongshen decides to discontinue exporting this motorcycle to the United States, I am very glad I bought my Zong.

I am confident I can maintain my motorcycle for another twenty years using compatible parts manufactured for the Yamaha TW200 and XT225 motorcycles.
