Pics of my Ninja 250 project
As you may recall I bought an '08 Ninja 250 with 1,100 miles on it for $1500. Perfect mechanically but the fairing was broken. Indeed every painted piece of the bike was damaged except the left tail section and needed to be replaced. About $1,200 later I have a brand new Ninja for less than $2,000.
Some pics of the project. My girlfriend helped out because she loves to help and it's mostly her who rides it. She's put almost 1,000 miles on it so far. This bike is excellent. Next investment will be a Corbin... The above picture was after I added the front fender. I did'nt get a picture of a true 'Before'. She's a heck of a lot better looking than this photo portrays! Starting to come together... Half the lower fairing is on. Is this a good looking bike or what? Except for the scratched pipe which I have since replaced, she's all new again. My girlfriends QLink XF 200 in the background. She won't ride it anymore since I bought the Ninja!
