Hand Grips

Ok my hand grips are so thin their painful to use, ha! but how the hell do you remove them, i dont wanna screw up my throttle or idle as these have been one of the things thats gone right on this bike.

Mentors let me have what you know.

Im starting to fear the day i have the kinks all worked out of the bike wont have much to say, occasional crazy picture perhaps.?!

Also, Im thinking of having a tuck and roll done on the seat as it was designed by marquis de sade.

let me have your imput.

Nothing to it. Slice the old ones with a knife longitudinally and pull them off. Use a solvent to clean the bar on the left and the throttle sleeve on the right. Apply the glue (or hairspray or spray paint) to the bar ends and the inside of the grips and shove them on. Let dry and enjoy.

Yep. Get a set of gel grips from any cycle shop. My stockers went away pretty quick.

I use the progrip model 791. Very comfortable, but they seem to be wearing quickly.

Yah, I've pretty much gotten people to stop asking me that question now
