oil level on a Gio 200cc beast
Hi all,
I've just purchased a GIO 200cc Beast. I am just wondering if owners of this ATV have a similar problem as i do. When i go check my oil with the dipstick, it shows level is full but if i look at the level glass on the motor its not showing any level at all. Manual said 0.9L of oil, I added about 0.94L just to be safe. Any help or information regarding which is more accurate would be great. Thank you. |

I believe that you need to thread the dipstick in to check the level. I think you are safe with what you have though.
I just use one quart of oil. Allen

I'm inclined to believe that olryder is already screwing the dipstick in to check the oil, and that is the problem.
olryder, I have a Beast as well, and I found the same thing. I just rest the dipstick on the threads and take a reading from there. Cheers!

so I'm almost at one quart of oil. I did screw it all the way in to check the oil level. Just by resting on the threads i get in between low/high mark.
Do you guys get any level from the level glass at all? Thanks Weldangrind & katoranger. |

Sounds like you are good then. On my bike 1 quart gets me in the sight glass almost to the top.
