Hello- from Ohio
New to China bike but just wanted to take a min and thank all of you for your wealth of information.
This past Christmas I bought both of my boys (6 and 9) JCL 4-wheelers, have had a few minor problems but nothing I couldn't figure out with a little help from searching past posts on here. Anyways, I've just sent in for my 1st motorcycle ever... At 38 years old I've never owned a bike before... I've always wanted to learn but did not want to drop $2000 -$3000 without knowing if Its something I'll get into. Finding a cheap china bike, made it a realistic posibility. Hope to learn the ropes off road (I have about 50 acres to practice on and then slowly transition to on-road as skills hopefully progress I decided to go with a Lifan 200 Enduro, shipped for $1,099 from www.xtrememinimotors.com I'll be sure to post my experience and I'm sure... more questions Thank-you Jim |

Welcome to the forums, Shotgun! You got a good deal on your Lifan GY-5. If you get a chance, please post some photos after it arrives.

Welcome Chap..
You sound like me, never rode a motorcycle before last year (I'm 34). At the time this forum was very helpful to me as I was looking at a china mx bike. I ended up dropping 2500 for my 04 YZ 250F instead of a chinese brand, but have since bought my daughter a china quad, and enjoy reading and helping in these forums as I'm sure you will too. Again, welcome and have fun!! |
