I do have some doubt about the Chinese. They have been showing us a 250cc bike for a few years now, yet the only enduros we can get are 200cc. Pobiker had to get his 250 as an importer's sample, from Asiawing (the maker of this 450). Asiawing did have an importer, Odes Bikes, but it doesn't seem like they are in business anymore. Lifan, Roketa, Jetmoto, Zongshen have kept the 200's coming. I am probably sounding like I am complaining, and I should point out that I am not, but rather am criticizing.
However, the bigger bikes do give me hope. I think that they will make it into production, but I do wish we can start with some 250cc's while we wait! Asiawing, do you hear us?

if they could make a bike that could compete with the suzuki and kawasaki 400's or even the klr650 and such AND keep the price a few thousand less then the competition, they would have a mint on their hands.
I have a hard time spending 6000+ on a 400 cc dual sport... now if i could get a 400+cc dual for around 3500-4000 new, i would not hesitate to run out and get one... i hope the chinese realize this and continue making forward progress in the R &D of their bikes and also in the importing of their products.

I just hope they learn how to permanently tighten something on these new bikes.

i actually enjoyed taking my bike completely apart and loctiting all the bolts.. it makes me feel "accomplished"
not to mention i can take it apart and put it back together and i know what tools i will need to do so.. philips head screwdriver, 8mm socket, 10 mm socket and then 18 and 21 mm sockets for the axles hehe.
